Monroe Pointe

Monroe Pointe is a condominium property with all the features one would need in a metropolitan setting. We developed a landscape that is inviting, relaxing, and useful for all residents to enjoy. The contemporary setting was the inspiration to the clean look and feel of the landscape. Its multiple courtyards and the functionality of the patios make for great places to watch a Denver sunset, read a novel, or spend time with guests. We created a project that was awarded LEED gold due to its use of recyclable landscape products and drainage systems. A green roof above the parking structure was installed so residents could utilize it as an additional landscape area.

It was a real challenge to establish the sod and plant materials because of the radiating heat from the reflective building and all of the hardscape items that surround the landscape. The roof deck added for additional difficulty since it has a minimal substrate, because it was designed for vehicular traffic, and it collected the western sun radiating off the metal building. Water management was an important aspect to regulate since of the property experiences everything from extraordinary heat to north facing shadows. Monroe Pointe is the premier, modern building in the area.  All of the functional landscape aspects with impeccable detail make it a perfect environment for residents to live and play.
