Excellence in Landscape Awards
Landtech is proud to be apart of the Associated Landscape Contractors of Colorado annual awards event. This year we won an award in the Landscape Management category, for our work at Pine Terrace in Colorado Springs, CO. Denver Children's Home
In conjunction with Landtech's strong commitment to the community, we will be providing Denver's Children's Home with full landscaping maintenance in 2008. We believe in giving back to the community that has helped us grow to the company we are today is important. Look for us to continue our efforts in giving back to the communities we serve.


Recycling Efforts
Landtech Contractors is partaking in a relatively new partnership with local recycling centers using green waste generated from grass clippings, tree and shrubs, sod and soils to provide an organic base for future compost. We generate over 1000 yards of organic waste per year that does not fill our landfills and is directly reused in our field of work. Our offices have also joined the recycling efforts, we make a conscious effort to recycle our office waste; everything from paper to plastics, metal, and toner cartridges are not filling landfills, rather are recycled. At Landtech we understand that conservation of our environment is as important as the job we do.


Congratulations
Congratulations to our Maintenance Manager James Smallwood, James has received the prestigious Certified Landscape Professional (CLP) accreditation from our national affiliation Professional Landcare Network (PLANET). To receive this certification a complete knowledge of business and horticulture is needed. James is our second CLP recipient; Larry Overley received his certification in 2004, congratulations James on your accomplishment.


Associated Landscape Contractors of Colorado
Kevin Overley, Landtech Contractors, has been nominated to the board of directors of the Associated Landscape Contractors of Colorado (ALCC). ALCC is a statewide trade organization in the forefront of Colorado’s green industry that represents business and professional interests of its members, encourages high standards of professionalism and integrity, promotes the landscape industry in public and governmental arenas, and fosters a spirit of harmony within the landscape community. Kevin is proud to volunteer his time to the ALCC and is involved in many committees, and focus groups, for the betterment of our landscape community.
